“Which skills can I pass on as an actor, and who benefits from them?”
These questions came to me when I moved from Colombia to Germany in 2015, at the age of 41. Behind me lay more than twenty years in theatre, television and film, a career that had begun in my teenage years, in which I gathered my own experience and learned from great masters.
Having found my footing in Germany, the answers took shape. Today my work rests on three connected pillars: the stage, directing, and training. What I learned as a performer I now pass on to the people who most need presence and a clear voice: academics, researchers and professionals who speak in front of an audience.
Actor, director, theatre educator. Three roles that feed one another. What I live on stage shapes how I direct, and how I teach.
Entering other worlds and taking the audience with me. More than twenty years of stage, television and cinema in Colombia, continued in Germany.
